چکیده

To find a solution of the inverse problem of electrocardiography as precisely as possible, individual geometry of a patient’s torso is required. The most precise method to obtain both the surface geometry and the position and shape of inner organs is an imaging method such as CT or magnetic resonance. In our work we tried to find a suitable surrogate torso model enabling to avoid the use of demanding imaging techniques and offering accurate enough results. We suggested doing that by adapting both the torso dimensions and positions of electrodes on an already existing parametrized standard torso model.

Spherical-harmonic approximation to the forward problem of electrocardiology.

Forward-problem solutions were approximated using spherical-harmonic series on an adult male torso model with heart and lungs. These approximations were found using only a knowledge of torso-model geometry and were not based on a prior solution for surface potentials. Because these series depend only on polar and azimuthal angles, they allow continuous estimation of the forward-problem solution...

Assessment of regularization techniques for electrocardiographic imaging.

A widely used approach to solving the inverse problem in electrocardiography involves computing potentials on the epicardium from measured electrocardiograms (ECGs) on the torso surface. The main challenge of solving this electrocardiographic imaging (ECGI) problem lies in its intrinsic ill-posedness. While many regularization techniques have been developed to control wild oscillations of the s...

Application of different inverse methods for combination of vS and vGPR data to estimate porosity and water saturation

Inverse problem is one of the most important problems in geophysics as model parameters can be estimated from the measured data directly using inverse techniques. In this paper, applying different inverse methods on integration of S-wave and GPR velocities are investigated for estimation of porosity and water saturation. A combination of linear and nonlinear inverse problems are solved. Linear ...

Examination of Quadrotor Inverse Simulation Problem Using Trust-Region Dogleg Solution Method

In this paper, the particular solution technique for inverse simulation applied to the quadrotor maneuvering flight is investigated. The ‎trust-region dogleg (DL) technique which is proposed alleviates the weakness of Newton’s method used for numerical differentiation of system states in the solution process. The proposed technique emphasizes global convergence solution to the inverse simulatio...
